(DECEMBER 11, 2008) 9:51 | Ponderosa, Shasta, Alameda and Galileo were all winners in first day varsity action at the 15th annual Lehigh Classic basketball tournament. Central Valley lost a thriller to Alameda 67-65, while defending champion Ponderosa shut down West Valley in the day’s first game 41-15. Shasta held of Amador 68-58 while Galileo, the new team to the tournament, defeated Liberty Christian 49-39. Shown here are varsity highlights from day 1.
